The Leadership Roundtable is proud to co-sponsor the National Symposium on Lay Ecclesial Ministry which has met at Saint John's University, Collegeville, MN in 2007 and 2011.

Over 40 Catholic organizations and institutions have invested in the National Symposium and three grants were recently awarded for the advancement of Lay Ecclesial Ministry:

• The Canon Law Society of America was awarded $5,000 to examine authorization practices of Lay Ecclesial Ministers in 20-25 dioceses and publish a resource guide on these practices;
• Fe y Vida was awarded $10,000 to promote lay ecclesial ministry leadership development among Hispanic leaders; and,
• The Alliance for National Certification of Lay Ecclesial Ministers was awarded $10,000 to develop a website to promote and help administer national certification.

Each organization also made an individual commitment to promote the development of Lay Ecclesial Ministry and St. John's University, MN, provided five Master of Divinity full tuition scholarships in each of the next three years.  If you, or someone you know is already doing ministry or feel called to it, you can apply for one of these scholarships.  Please contact the Admissions Director and let them know the Leadership Roundtable sent you.
